The best things in life are free.

For a while now, I've been depotting my mac eye shadows & popping them into palettes, as it saves space & makes things a lot easier when looking for certain colours. Obviously not everyone thinks this way, and for those of you who prefer to have the indivdual pots, this blog post may sway you slightly. I'd been saving all my eye shadow pots in a little bag & I had then shoved them in a draw & completely forgot about them. It was always something on my "to do list". For those of you who aren't aware of the Back to Mac scheme, it's basically just a good way of recycling empty packaging & Mac give you something back in return for 6 empties. Usually a lipstick. I took along my 18 eye shadow empties & picked out 3 new colours. It would have cost me £40.50 but got 100% discount. Very satisfying indeed. These 3 are the colours that I had been oggling for a while, and obviously with the lipstick now retailing at £13.50 (stop mac, seriously, stop with the price increases) now is a good time to take back your empties. I picked up Chatterbox, Creme Cup & Shy Girl.

Lush also do a recycling scheme, where if you take back 5 empty black pots, you get a free fresh face mask. I don't find it very hard emptying any lush black pots, especially if you regularly buy the fresh face masks anyway, they only have a shelf (or fridge) life of 2-3 weeks, so after this time it should all be used up. I am definitely guilty of throwing a few away in the past...and now i regret it. I picked up "Catastrophe Cosmetic". It's my absolute favourite face mask. I love everything about it, the smell, the colour, the texture, the way it makes my skin look. I'll be buying these over and over and over, and then hopefully being rewarded for recyling buy recieving a free one every now and then :)

Overall, quite a satisfying little shop, since I ended up spending no money on things I actually want and love. So, ladies and gentlemen, the moral of this blog post is SAVE YOUR EMPTIES & SAVE THE PLANET. :)

Review: Lush - Valentine Items

I'm anti-valentines this year.
Well, every year it's just commercialised crap, why should there be a special day where your partner has to spend money on you & make you realise how much you love them. It should be like that everyday to be honest.
Lush brought out some Limited Edition items this year, both of which i knew i would love.



The first is the
Magic Mushroom Bubble Bar

This smells amazing. The red is yummy yummy yummy scented (strawberries & cream) & the white is vanillary scented. Peeerfect combination in my opinion.
It's also super cute & made my bath water a pretty pale pink, the bubbles were also really creamy.
Why do lush do this to me? seriously? Why do they bring out the most amazing products for a limited amount of time. *sulk*

Next is the
Ex Factor Bath Ballistic

Essentially, this is Mr Butterball & the Butterball bath ballistic in the form of a blue gingerbread man with a little pink heart & my preferred choice over the others. He's the cutest & my bath water has never looked so pretty. I noticed when he was fizzing away there was colouring in his little legs, once they had dissolved the water was a gorgeous deep blue.
Add in the moisturising properties of the butterball & the gorgeous vanillary scent & you're garanteed an amazing bath.
PLEASE STOP DOING THIS TO ME LUSH. Make this little blue fella permanent & at such a cheap price for so many green ticks it's an absolute must have.

Review: Lush - Bubblegum Lip Scrub

As many of you will be aware, & if you aren't you will be now, Lush have repromoted (from their sister company Be Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful) the ever so popular lip scrubs.
I had never tried these, but they obviously thought that they were worth keeping in the family, so passed them on into the Lush store when they decided to close down (sad times)

I first tried to get my hands on these last week but was informed they had all sold out in 2 days..sheesh, that is ALOT of dry chapped lips amongst the Lush fans in my City.
Yesterday however, they were fully stocked, so i went and had a nosey at all three scrubs.
In all honesty, i did just want to pick up all three, pay & go, because i had a train to catch & they are right on the till, so i was being put off by the girl standing behind the counter.



Her favourite was the mint one, but i wasn't instantly drawn to that one, and the chocolate one wasn't so appealing once i'd smelt it.. (i had obviously been imagining them totally different & was a bit dissapointed - I will most probabaly end up getting them anyway though) but the bubblegum one smelt amazing. It's a mixture of Creamy Candy scent and Snow Fairy (that's my rather awful attempt at describing it)
It taste's just as delicious.

So what do i think? Overpriced? Probabaly, it is, after all, some oil & sugar & a bit of colouring & flavouring, but it's not something i would have the patience to make and how many of us ever just dip our fingers into the sugar bowl and rub it over our lips?
The one thing i find a bit..annoying about these is the fact that you can't do this on the go..you can't be out shopping, think your lips are feeling a bit dry and start rubbing this all over the place..and i say this because i did this with no mirror..looked in the mirror a few minutes later and looked as though i'd tried to eat a donut without licking my lips...and that was after i thought i had removed anything that may have still been there.
One other thing i thought i would mention was that my little glass pot, as cute as it is, had the most skewiff label ever..i took the whole thing off and put it on neatly..the person who made mine was obviously in a hurry to get these shipped out for all the chapped lipped ladies, it's not a massive deal, but it's the small things eh? a few more seconds spent on it, and it would have been fine. It was also extremely messy & a bit sticky around the lid but i cleaned that up.
One thing i can totally say is worth the money, is the fact it works, it does leave your lips feeling and looking one hundred times better, mine even seemed a little more plump from all the lip-rubbing. haha. I'd say it gives you the perfect base for a lipbalm or before lipstick. I also found it rather addictive..i was applying this almost every hour. The taste and smell is amazing, and because it's mainly sugar, you can just lick it off :P

Review: Lush - Flosty Gritter Bubble Bar

I recently recieved this as a freebie in a goody bag. I had seen it in the shop before, but i'll be honest, i never touched it because of the glitter coating. It looked pretty, but the thought of getting glitter everywhere was enough for me to bypass this completely.



This bubble bar does look super pretty, i hadn't even smelt it before in fear of walking out of the shop with a pink glittery nose, but it smells AMAZING.

It smells like Vanilla & Lavender & i could sniff this all day long.
One thing i was a little apprehensive about was whether or not all this glitter was inside aswell as out..thankfully, it's not, which means most of the bubble bar crumbled into your bath will be glitter free. On first look, this bubble bar does seem a tad smaller than others, especially the comforter, but actually, you'll be surprised by how much use you can get out of this.
The water turned a gorgeous pink & there were no obvious traces of glitter.

This bubble bar is right up there for me with Creamy Candy & Mar Bar.
I will most definitely be buying these again & again.
So there's your lesson folks, do not be a glitter snob.

Review: Lush - Happy Blooming Bath Melt

I was extremely excited to see that in the latest Lush Times, there was a page of new & exciting products that were soon to be released.
The first thing I have bought to try out is this bath melt.



I am a big fan of the bath melts, a little more pricey they may be, but they are full of beneficial ingredients for the skin.
"This melt is full of Ylang Ylang, Sweet Benzoin & masses of other beautiful frangrances"



The first thing you notice about this bath melt, is the fact it is made up of three slices (if you like)
Yes people, we can get 3 baths out of this little beauty.
Hoorah!
I used 1/3 of the bath melt last night, and my hopes of it being moisturising with only a third were very slimjim, but i was surprised by it's strength. I'm thinking they have upped the ingredients by 3x in order to make it just as good with 3 uses.

One thing i am sort of undecided on, is the scent.
The guy who served me said this was hands down his favourite lush scent ever & i can definitely see why. It smells like Cherry Drops...but, as my brother also pointed out..it has a small tinge of playdough mixed in there too. I'm not really a massive fan of generic cherry smells, they always remind me of cough sweets or vitamins..or even those glacier cherries they used to put in your coke in pubs. (Er..whatever happened to that anyway? I never used to eat them as they are vile, but it was nice to get them in there..someone enlighten me)

The water also turned a pretty pale pink, it did moisturise my body & the smell DID linger.
3 massive ticks.

I am actually pretty impressed by this bath melt, i am still undecided on the smell, but people like different scents. Also, the whole "No bubbles with bath melts" does make me a little sad. Next time im going to add some bubble bar into the bath with it, but for the pursposes of the review i thought i would bathe with it on its lonesome.

Review: Lush Christmas - Christmas Eve

This bubble bar (to be crumbled under running water for bubbles galore) smells delish.
It has a perfumey/floral scent to it.
It includes Jasmine & Ylang Ylang so has it's calming properties.
It can either be a very comforting smell, or a very fresh one.
It also turned my water a gorgeous blue colour (this was without the yellow), with a smidgen of the yellow, it went a not so nice green..
When i first used this, i wasn't that blown away by it..but the second time i realised that actually, it has a really nice scent that Lush do not already produce in the bubble bar range, and sniffing away at it now, i've decided that it shares my love with Candy Cane, both very very different however.
This bubble bar also has irredescent glitters which make the bubbles look pretty but does not stick to the skin (unless you were to use a body butter or something including oil)

I really like this bubble bar, and will be buying a few more before the christmas range becomes extinct.

LUSH Boxing Day Sale.

As some of you may, or may not be aware, a large proportion of Lush stores across the UK & USA hold post Christmas sale's.

Last year, in the UK, the sale was simply "Spend £20, get anything free", so people were walking out with free "Lush Legend" box sets worth £97.
However this year, they have sorted out this steal, & now it's box sets within a certain date/price, or simply pick anything from a massive box full of stuff.
In my local Lush shop, the massive box was full of Xmas box sets, and bags which were stapled so you couldn't see inside, but i think most had a 500g Snow Fairy & various other Xmas items.
In the US, the sales are a lot more exciting (in my opinion anyway), & their deal is simply
"Buy one, get two free" - erm..yes please UK?
(If anyone actually knows why we don't have this promotion in the UK, let me know...I'm intrigued)

I've never been shopping on boxing day, but this year, i had nothing to do, my family were meeting with friends and doing a local pub crawl & my brother went off skiing.
So me & my cousin drove into the city (which at 11.30 i thought would be manic..it seriously wasn't..it was more quiet than an average day).
I went straight to Lush, thinking everything would be gone, but it was surprisingly quiet & lots of choice for the free gift.

Review: Lush Christmas - Candy Cane

Bubble bars are one of my Lush necessities. I feel lost without a bubble bar to crumble into my bath.
This has to be one of my favourite. I love the shape, i love the colours & i adore the smell. Many have said it smells like creamy candy. I don't have that at the moment so i can't compare. Both have a very sweet "candy" smell to them though. I do know i'd rather pick this up than creamy candy though, think it's slightly bigger too!
If you're not familiar with bubble bars, you simply crumble a small section under running water. I found that if you crumble it under a very very fast running tap (as my hot water sort of dribbles out my tap at the moment - so i have to use a blast of cold to produce my bubbles) then it will produce better quality bubbles, and more of them.
I honestly have nothing more to say about this beaut, i have repurchased a few already & i do find the smell lingers & leaves my skin softer than normal.
Love love love this.

Review: Lush Christmas - Snow Fairy

I WILL finish these Christmas reviews before christmas (lol) & then when Lush do their crazy "buy a massive bag of xmas lush stuff for only £20" you will pleased you read these reviews ;)

Snow Fairy is something which produced a massive amount of hype last year, and all year this was probabaly my most anticipated xmas lush product as i wanted to see what the fuss was about. I don't think it's AS amazing as some people made it out to be, but i do love it none the less.
If i've never tried a shower gel in lush before, i buy the smaller bottle just to test. If i like it, i will go back and buy the biggest bottle. I will be doing this with Snow Fairy. :)
The scent is extremely sweet and bubblegummy, something which would probabaly go down better in the summer, but a very nice, girly scent never the less.
It also has small irridescent particles of blue glitter, which makes it look so pretty in the bottle.
It does leave my skin feeling very soft, and the smell lingers all day.
It also lathers well, for all you lather freaks out there. ;)

Review: Lush Christmas - Jingle Spells

Jingle Spells Bath Bomb is one that Lush describes as a "hangover cure"
I did not have a hangover when i chose to bathe in this...just so you know.
Hmm, what do i say about this?
It's...blah
It's nothing special, and honestly, i HATED being in the bath with tonnes of stars (yeh, there's more inside)
They kept landing on me and itching me or making me flinch (like you would if you thought a spider was crawling on your skin)
When would anybody really choose to bathe with tonnes of little stars? they will just end up going places you dont want them to..like your belly botton on between your toes..jeez people, where did you think i meant. ;)
The scent was nice. It's a very refreshing & comforting smell, which is possibly why it would make a good hangover cure. It smells of Juniperberry.
The best thing about this Bath Ballistic was the fact it turned the water dark purple & left my skin feeling slightly softer.

I won't be purchasing this one again, the stars ruined it for me personally, i thought i'd be able to cope with the few on top...but it came with many a "bun in it's oven".
If you are a ballistic person, and dont mind stars...this might be one to give a sniff because the smell was lovely.

Review: Lush Christmas - Cinders

This Bath Ballistic is also alot smaller than your average bath bomb, around the same size as the So White.
This one looks really pretty & i picked this up because 2 of the girls in there (who by the way, all get a massive box full to the brim of all the new stock to try and out...lucky) had said it was their favourite.
When you smell this, is does smell really christmassy, unlike So White which, lets face it, is more of a summery scent. Lush describes it as a Spicy, Soda scented Ballistic.
Lush also claim that when you pop this in your bath, it fizzes and crackles as it has popping candy in it.
Unfortunately, and very dissapointingly, nothing was popping or crackling.
I was listening to my bath water like a child listening to their rice krispies...
No snap, crackle or pop for me though.
Mine may well have been a dud, has anybody purchased this bath ballistic and heard crackling and popping?

I can live without the noises if im honest, that wasn't why i bought it, i really do love the autumny smell, and it really was a very powerful scent even after the Ballistic had fizzed away.
I didn't notice any benefits to my skin after this bath, which, it doesnt claim to do, but, it would have been nice :)

This retails for £1.95 (i like this price)

Overall, i think if you're after a genuinely nice, christmassy smelling bath product, this would be perfect. It did get me a little bit excited for christmas, just like apple and cinnamon candles do!

Review: Lush Christmas - So White

I'm going to kick off this review by saying this is by far, my favourite lush scent & something i think they should play around with more..soap, bubble bars etc..

The size of this Bath Ballistic is smaller than your average Sex Bomb.
But it has a very powerful scent of apples & leaves a frothy "snowy" layer on the top of the water.
Sadly, i was expecting alot more.."froth", but really, there were just a few clusters of bubbles, but still, that was alot more than a normal bath ballistic would create..i.e..nada.
The smell also lingered in the bathroom for a good while, although not on my skin, sadly.
This Bath Ballistic retails for £1.75, which in my opinion is really good.

By far one of my favourite Bath Ballistics & definitely my favourite lush scent..it's just alot different than the scents they have already created..i guess it's just a generic apple smell, which i suppose Lush aren't really all about.
I can safetly say that i will be stocking up on these, along with my star melts to get me through the rest of the year. :)

Please Lush, if you're reading this, make more products using this scent.

My Winter Skin Essentials.

So as the winter months have crept up on us (alot more rapidly than i had wished) it's time to crack out the products that save our skin. (well, mine anyway)

Hands

One of the first & most vital for me is a good quality hand cream, I tend to get extremely dry hands, mainly around the thumb and forefinger (i inherit this from my dad, who's hands actually split during the winter..yowch) luckily, mine aren't that bad, because i take care of them. :)
My favourite hand cream is Handy Gurugu by Lush. I have tried plenty, nivea, neutrogina, palmers, e45 cream...almost all the "boots & superdrug" brands, but this is by far my favourite.
It's got a really thick creamy consistency, yet soaks into the skin really quickly. The smell is gorgeous too & it's not a bad price.

The other thing i think you need for your hands, is an oil or butter cuticle cream.
I use Lemony Flutter by Lush, which i also like to put on very very dry patches on my hands for a quick fix. I also love this product & use it religiously & you don't need that much. I was also told by the girl in Lush that you can use it on very dry, chapped lips..something i hadn't thought about. It's a great item, and i would definitely say it's a winter essential if you suffer dry hands/cuticles like me.

There is also the "Deep Treatment" method. Before bed, slather your hands in a rich, moisturising cream, pop on some cotton gloves and when you wake up it's like your hands are re-juvinated. :) I would suggest doing this once a week, or if you have MEGA dry hands, as much as needed, it wouldn't hurt to do it more often.

Feet

I'm really fussy about my feet being soft. I feel like it suffocates me if i have dry feet.
I use a pummice stone on the bottom's of my feet in the bath at least 3 times a week to get rid of any dry skin. I then like to use a foot treatment before bed (avec cotton socks).
My favourite is one by Soap & Glory called "Foot Mask". I have done a review of this product HERE.

You can also invest in something like a ped egg for easy foot exfoliation..i don't own one, but i own something similar.

Body

There's a few items i always bring out in the winter.
The first is the Body Shop's Body Butter's. I find that these are very rich in shea butter and cocoa butter and do a fab job of moisturising the skin. Review can be found HERE

The second, which i used alot last winter, were the Lush Massage Bars. My favourite being "Heavanilli". These can be rubbed straight onto the skin, or rubbed between the hands then rubbed into the skin, just like a normal moisturiser.

Another thing my mum swears by, are oils, rubbed directly onto the skin, she always nags me to oil my skin, and in winter espescially.

I also think it's really important to exfoliate a bit more in the winter, i know i have to.
So i'd get yourself some exfoliating gloves & a good body scrub.
My favourite scrub is "Sugar Crush" by Soap & Glory.


Lips

My lips have been really bad recently, and so i've been applying lip balm religiously.
My favourites are Burts Bee's, Nivea Intense repair lip cream & carmex. I am never anywhere without either of these with me.

I know that alot of people also like to use vaseline, but i tend not to, as it doesn't actually hydrate the skin, it just makes a geasy barrier, keeping moisture in, not injecting any, great for those who don't really suffer that bad with chapped lips, but i don't find it does anything for me.

Other

I also suggest a good night cream, which is alot more moisturising than normal, even if you suffer from oily skin, it's still really important to stay hydrated.

Drink Lots -This is probabaly just standard, but in winter it's a little more important to get your 8 pints in the day because your skin needs to be alot more hydrated to prevent you looking so pale and gaunt :) It's also Good if you suffer dark circles or find it harder waking up in the morning. Drink a pint before bed, and a pint when you when you wake up.

Hot water bottles - It's not really a skin essential..just a winter essential because they are cute. :)

Moisturising Baths - You can buy so many bath bombs and bath melts that moisturise your skin as you bathe. My favourite at the moment is Lush's Star Melts (review here) & the butterball bath ballistic is also very moisturising.

I will be doing a seperate blog post on my current winter skincare regime, but i hope you enjoyed a little insight into the things im currently using everywhere else.

Review: Lush Christmas - Satsumo Santa

First of all, i'm going to state that i'm not really a massive Bath Ballistic fan.

I love that some turn the water different colours, or moisturise (Butterball) but, overall, i don't think they are worth the money if all they do is smell nice.
I'm a bubbles girl me.

So, in all seriousness, i did just pick this up because it looked cute...i know, lame.
Its the shape of a father christmas...im easily amused.

The smell is very citrus and fruity, not really my idea of a christmas scent, more a summer one. It's a nice smell, but again, i do think i'd prefer to use it in the summer days.
The bath turned a very vibrant orangey red..which was nice..but still, it's just colouring.
I also noticed that with this one, the smell didn't last long, unlike sex bomb which is so powerful it can make the whole house smell amazing.
This one was £2.75, and although not a bad price, i don't think i'll be buying it again.
It didn't "wow" me.
If you like lighter more fruity scents & are a bath ballistic fan, i would reccommend this however, as i did feel the size was a teeny bit larger than normal, and did go a long way. That would be my positive point :)

Review: Lush Christmas - Star Melts

As many of you will be aware, Lush is now brimming with the Christmas items.

Not being such an avvid lush fan last year, meant that i didn't indulge in the holiday items, but i have been waiting all year (i won't lie) for the new stuff to come in so i can try it out.
I was starting to get bored of the normal range..i felt i'd tried most things, and needed an injection of newness.

I'm going to review the items i've tried individually, mainly because i'm not one of those people that tries to use it all up quickly in order to review them all straight away. Lush Bath time, to me, is a luxury, therefore i don't throw in a £3 bath bomb every night. haha. If i had the money though, trust me, i so would.

First up, is my favourite...

The Star Melts.
I've repurchased these over and over.
I'm seriously going to have to stock up..or protest to have them made permanently.

They aren't as big as the normal melts, but these little beauties are not my favourite because of the smell (even though it's Snow Fairy scented..and smells delicious) I was told by the Lush girl they are actually made up of 90% icing sugar (or around that - If she is wrong..then shame on her) and so when used in the bath, it turns a very milky consistency & leaves your skin feeling SO moisturised and soft..and the smell ACTUALLY lingers on your skin.

I found that you don't need to use the whole star for your bath, but if you have a large tub, or are feeling particularly indulgent, using the whole thing is FAB. The scent is alot stronger though obviously.
If you're not a fan of sweet smells, i wouldn't get this..actually..scrap that, just sit their with a peg on your nose because its worth it for how you feel afterwards.

These are £2.45 which, i'd say is pretty average for a lush bath item, and the price doesnt effect me too much tbh. I'd buy these if they were £4. They do alot more than any bath ballistic has ever done for me, so i'm a happy bunny.

If you haven't already done so, i would strongly urge you to check these out. They are my favourite christmas item so far. I may even go as far as to say my favourite bath item ever... :O

The Clothes & Accessories...
I bought this GORGEOUS dress in H&M. I love the shape, the fabric & the colours & i cannot wait to wear it. It would have looked nice at the wedding i went to...oh well.

I loove the detailing, it has hearts & birds :)

Next is a silk scarf from Warehouse which was in the sale. I thought it was super pretty & the colours meant it could be worn with pretty much anything..i also dont think i own enough scarf's.

I then bought a blue belt in Topshop. It's a waist belt with gold tigers on it. I liked this because it was different, the colour was striking & it actually FIT me. I find it incredibly hard to find waist belts that fit as im petite, and i can't wait to put this with an outift.

Also in the Topshop sale i noticed this silky number. It was part of the Barbara Hulanicki range and was reduced from £40 to £15.

I also love the detailing on this one too. The pattern is of girls faces.

Carbooty Booty.

So, like most sundays, i was up bright & early with my mum & off we went to the bootsale.

It's quite nice spending some time with my mum, & theres always something stupid to laugh at...like a man that only has 24p in change, wanting to buy a stupid china ornament that the lady wanted 30p for, & throwing the money into her hand saying
"Alls i gots is 24 pence change..lemme have it furr thaa"
haha, who goes to a bootsale, with 24p...only to find their dream china ornament is 30p

A huge golden labrador sitting on the roof of a van..& mum turns to me and says "My gosh..look at the dog sat up there all well behaved", and me saying "Mum..that's stuffed". Her reply is then "No it's not..it's moving", and i then say "No mum..thats just the fur blowing in the wind".
Yes...people sell stuffed dogs at bootsales...how weird is that?

Anyway...onto what i picked up. Not a massive amount of makeup this time..or a massive amount of anything really but i shall share anyway as i know some of you love my bootsale bargains.

Body Shop Shimmer Cubes

Yay... These were brand new and unopened. In the body shop i think they are £14 something.
I really, really like these.. The colours are gorgeous & alot like the Mac Spiced Choc quad but without any matte colours. So, if you are sad you missed that. I would pick this up as it has some pretty similar colours in it.
Super happy with that bargain!

Lush Bath Ballistics & 1 Bubble Bar

I do sometimes see Lush stuff at carboots..but i always go straight to the label for the expiry, and most of the time..it will have expired. So i don't buy it. But Bath Ballistics last for ages. Theres not really a time limit on these babies.
Yes they may become slightly discoloured but wont grow mould and turn your skin manky.
I think some of these are all holiday items.
I don't know the names but i think 1 is called christmas party... :) & actually i think the bluey one is called Sakura (permanent) but it's lost alot of it's colour.
Enlighten me if you know! :D
I did actually use the one out of the bag the other night..& i can't say i loved it much..well...at all.
It smelt like the dentist & was full of chunky glitter. I can't ever imagine a scenario where i'd want to bathe in either of those. It wasnt a pleasant experience.
Oh well!

Dead Sea Bath Salts

I have dry skin..and i have never used dead sea products..i'm stupid right? It's meant to be really good for dead skin cells & completely renewing the skin & relaxing muscles.
Sounds good! I'm going to use these tonight. It looks too cute to open though!

I also bought 3 HUGE bags of mini eggs for 50p each. The lady was selling loads of easter chocolate. I'm guessing she took them from Woolworths before it closed down?...or is a right fatty!

Bicester CCO & Lush Goodies.

Imagine how excited i was when my boyfriend agreed to accompany me to Oxford to Bicester Outlet Village...er..very much so!!

Not only is it a cute day out, filled with amazing designer shops but they have a Cosmetic Company Outlet. Eeee.
Last time i went they didn't have an overly impressive Mac display & i ended up skipping it altogether but this time i bought a few things. They had Hello Kitty, Fafi, Neo Sci-Fi & many different brush kits...so if you live near Oxford & you want to get your hands on any of that, i would suggest you go check it out. :)
I thought i was pretty good..i did start off with alot more in mind but i restrained myself & cut it down slightly.



"Spiced Chocolate" Quad
I eyed this up when it was released a while back but the price tag put me off. Being abit cheaper in the CCO i couldn't resist. The colours are "Nano Gold, Brash, Sweet Chestnut & Spiced Chocolate"

Neo Sci-fi E/S "Femme Fi"

I also eyed this one up when Neo Sci-fi came out, but for some reason i left it..could have been the hole in my pocket. I am loving this colour!Swatches of Eyeshadows

Lustreglass in "Love Knot"
I think...think..don't quote me, but this came out with Naughty Naughticals...i seem to remember one with a name very similar. I wasn't really into MAC overly when that collection came out but this colour is gorgeous & i definately prefer the consistency on lustreglasses to lipglasses. It is a gorgeous pink with blue/purple reflex & you can really see it.

Last week i popped into LUSH with one thing in mind, and of course i came out with slightly more, and whats even better was i got out my card to pay and the ever so sauve boyfriend whipped out a £20 note before i could hand over my card. I told him off for being too nice & adorable... MEN! ha


"Lemony Flutter" cuticle butter
Have been eyeing this as lately my nails & cuticles have been damaged big time by acryllic nails & the warm weather has dried out my skin big time :( After using this a few times i can saftely say it's love. Fab for elbows and knee's too!


"The Olive Branch" shower gel
This is my new favourite shower gel. It smells absoloutley GORGEOUS. I was never really drawn towards this one as i think the word "Olive" really put me off. I never fancied smelling of olives, but im so glad my nose was curious as i could lather this all over me every minute of everyday.

"Creamy Candy" bubble bar
We all know what this smells like. Creamy candy... sickly sweet & i want to eat it.

"Oatifix" fresh face mask
This is what i ventured in to buy..(and almost forgot until i was at the till) this is the new facemask made up of ingredients especially for dry skin. (Click picture to enlarge & read the description) It smells SO yummy..unlike some of the others they have, which frankly i don't think i could put near my nose at all. It smells like bananas, toffee & almonds. I have yet to put this on my face but i'm looking forward to it muchly.

I'm SO tired as have been working 13 hour days all of last week as an extra in a bbc period drama called "Cranford" (don't know if any of you are familiar with the series?) & i have yet to catch up on sleep but have been dozing off randomly at strange times in the day & talking rubbish and moving alot in my sleep...odd ball! So right now i just about have my eyes open. I will do a blog post all about being an extra as i got to meet some fab people/celebs & was totally filled in with celeb gossip by some of the assistant directors. Interesting stuff!

Anyways my lovelies, i'm going rest my eyes.
